PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE TEACHER’S AUTHORITY FORMATION

Abstract

The article deals with current problems of development and strengthening of teacher's authority: reducing the psychological distance with students; improving the overall culture and intelligence of a teacher; increasing knowledge in pedagogy and psychology of high school; belief in the importance of problems solved during lectures and establishing of direct contact with the audience (colloquial manner of presentation, friendly attitude to students’ questions during lectures, etc.), the lack of age and professional deformation. The article analyzes the results of the survey of teachers and students.
