Abstract

The article analyzes responsibility as a key element of the professional qualities required of a modern teacher. It examines the relationship between responsibility and other traits of a mature personality, such as social intelligence, empathy, creativity, introspection, and the ability to overcome life crises.

The purpose of the article is to identify the psychological prerequisites for developing responsibility as a core quality of a modern teacher.

In the context of the modern socio-cultural landscape, there is a noticeable shift in value orientations, highlighting the growing importance of self-development and quality of life. The article emphasizes that responsibility plays a crucial role in enabling individuals to make decisions, take accountability for them, and adapt effectively to changes in the social environment.
