ENHANCING THE EFFICIENCY OF MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION AMONG MILITARY PERSONEL OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article explores the relevant issue of assessing the moral and psychological condition of military personnel as a crucial factor in ensuring the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The authors emphasize that modern challenges associated with the dynamic conditions of combat operations require the integration of advanced methodologies for analyzing moral and psychological conditions that account for both internal and external influencing factors. 

An analysis of contemporary methodologies reveals that traditional approaches in Ukraine do not sufficiently account for the specifics of combat conditions, are labor-intensive, and do not meet the operational requirements. The article examines the main methods of assessing the moral and psychological state developed by Ukrainian researchers, including quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, testing, surveys, observation, and expert assessment methods. 

The article proposes promising directions for improving the accuracy and timeliness of moral and psychological state assessments, such as automation of processes, development of digital technologies, enhancement of the qualifications of specialists in moral and psychological support, and harmonization of national approaches with NATO standards. In conclusion, the authors note that addressing the issue of effective assessment of the moral and psychological condition of military personnel will contribute to strengthening Ukraine’s national security and enhancing the combat readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
