ANALYSIS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL REACTIONS TO THE TRAUMATIC STRESS AMONG INTERNALLY DISPLACED ADOLESCENTS

The article analyzes the concepts of «stress», «traumatic stress», «post-traumatic stress disorder». The biochemistry of stress action is described; factors that increase traumatic stress; the consequences of traumatic stress; stages of the dynamics of experiencing a traumatic situation: denial, aggression, depression, healing.
Psychological reactions to traumatic stress of older adolescents with the status of internally displaced persons are analyzed. It was found that the most pronounced emotional reaction to traumatic stress for respondents is the fear of death of other family members (100 %). During traumatic stress, adolescents have a low interest in their favorite business (83 %). The main symptoms of traumatic stress in respondents are repetitive experiences accompanied (87 %) by anxiety in a dream (90 %), memories of a traumatic event (87 %), avoidance of activities, places or people that evoke memories of the event (87 %). Teenagers show irritability or outbursts of anger (93 %), difficulty falling asleep or drowsiness (90 %), suspicion develops (90 %). Most teenagers (100 %) who are under traumatic stress do not experience joy, but they are active, efficient, hardy, full of strength and desire to study and work. Male persons adapt better to environmental changes, perceive traumatic events more restrainedly than female persons. It was revealed that the majority of displaced teenagers have a moderate level of reactive (80 %) and personal anxiety (60 %). They are characterized by: moderate tension, anxiety, concern, nervousness in a specific situation of experiencing war.
The article offers a set of techniques and techniques aimed at normalizing the reactions of traumatic stress: creating an imaginary safe place, distraction, techniques for overcoming sleep disorders and nightmares, correction of increased physiological excitability. Techniques of psychological work with intrusive memories are described.
