Abstract

The article deals with the problem of activation of the creative resources of the teacher and the development of his creativity in the process of his professionalization. Possible ways of solving the problem of diagnosing the teacher's creative resources are outlined through the determination of measurable constructs of his creative potential and a selection of methods for the diagnosis of empirical indicators of these constructs.
The reform of the educational sector nowadays is now identified with innovative processes, and therefore the society needs teachers of a new school with a high level of professional competence and the ability to implement innovations.
A creative pedagogue creates his own pedagogical system, is capable of creative activity and professional research. One of the requirements for revealing the creative potential of a teacher is the introduction of a creative approach to the educational process and innovative psychological and pedagogical technologies.
The active use of creativity trainings and creative thinking courses is aimed more at students, while the process itself puts the requirements also for training of a teacher to the practical application of heuristic techniques. The professionalization of the teacher should include his exercises in organizing the creative process, developing his skills of creative behavior as a model for imitation, mastering his own universal heuristics.
