THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF STUDYING INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS IN ADOLESCENCE

The article is devoted to the problem of interpersonal relationships in adolescence, the period of transition to adulthood, which requires a person with clearly defined life goals, responsible choices and actions. Based on the theoretical analysis of psychological features of interpersonal relationships of adolescents, it is established that in this age period there are important achievements caused by changing social situation on the way to social maturity, self-awareness and development of "I" -concept.
Emphasis is placed on the ambiguity of the development of interpersonal relationships in adolescence, which is accompanied, on the one hand, by increasing social contacts with peers and adults, deepening intimate relationships of friendship, love, and on the other - increasing demands on partners, increasing selectivity in relationships and selectivity. in personal self-determination, self-affirmation and self-expression.
The opinion that the level of self-esteem and personal achievements in the activity largely depends on the quality of interpersonal relations (first of all - in education) adolescence, establishment of criteria for attitude to people, guidelines for assessing external events, determine future life prospects.
It is concluded that due to the conflict development of relationships in adolescence and the current unfavorable conditions for their implementation, youth need psychological help in resolving conflicts between tendencies to individualization and expansion ofcontacts.
