FEATURES OF THE CONNECTION BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL MOTIVATION AND VALUE ORIENTATIONS OF LAWYERS

Abstract

The article deals with the connection between professional motivation and value orientations of lawyers. The main motives that motivate lawyers to choose this professional path are identified. The state of studying professional motivation and value-oriented sphere in domestic and foreign literature is studied. The main components of motivation, its influence on professional activity, and also algorithms of formation of value orientations of the person are opened. The necessity of education and self-development, which are important prerequisites for the formation of personality, is substantiated and the main criteria of professional motivation of lawyers are highlighted.

Features of professional identification among lawyers and personal qualities of character that determine the professional environment are considered. The connection between professional motivation and value orientations and their influence on the effectiveness of lawyers has been empirically proven. The main directions of the research, methodological basis and further application of the obtained results are described. The role of values, role models, knowledge and qualities inherent in lawyers, necessary for them to carry out professional activities, is analyzed. Suggestions and recommendations for further research of the factors of formation of value orientations of lawyers, which determine their professional activity and increase the level of satisfaction with the profession, are offered. The prospects for further research of this problem can be seen in the in-depth study of the nature of the formation of value orientations and the mechanisms of their impact on professional motivation. Improving and correcting the semantic basis of professional choice opens wide prospects for increasing the professional level of lawyers.
