AI Technologies Usage Policy

Professional journal "Psychology: Reality and Perspectives" supports innovation while striving to ensure academic integrity and the full responsibility of authors for their research results. Our policy is built on the principles of transparency and adherence to the highest standards of publication ethics.

How can you use AI in your work?

We permit the use of AI tools as supporting aids in the following cases:

  • Language and Stylistic Editing: For checking grammar and spelling, improving readability, or translating the text.
  • Technical Assistance: For structuring text, summarizing information, or assisting with data processing and programming.
  • Research Methodology: If AI is part of your scientific method (e.g., for analyzing large datasets or modeling processes), this must be described in detail within the "Research Methodology" section.
  • Generation of Illustrations: AI-generated images are allowed if they visually represent the models or dynamics of the described processes, do not distort findings, and are clearly labeled as "Created by AI".

What should be avoided? (Unacceptable Use)

To maintain scientific integrity, we have established the following restrictions:

  • AI Authorship: No AI tool can be listed as an author or co-author of an article. Authorship implies intellectual responsibility, which can only be held by a human.
  • Automatic Text Generation: We do not accept papers that are entirely or predominantly generated by AI. As the author, you bear full responsibility for the originality and reliability of every word in your work.
  • Manipulation and Falsification: It is strictly prohibited to use AI to create fabricated data, non-existent sources, or any form of manipulation of research results.
  • Confidentiality: Please remember that uploading unpublished manuscripts into open AI systems violates confidentiality and data security rules.

     AI Usage Declaration

If AI tools were used during the preparation of your manuscript, we ask you to provide a brief declaration. It should state the name of the tool, the purpose of its use, and the extent of your control over the results. This information should be placed within the article after the reference list.

Ethics for Reviewers

The reviewers are strictly prohibited from using AI for analyzing manuscripts or writing reviews. Each article is treated as a confidential document, which precludes it from being uploaded to third-party systems.

 Consequences of Policy Violation

Should inappropriate AI use or non-disclosure be identified, the editorial board may take the following actions:

  • Request for Clarification: We will contact the author to request corrections or a detailed explanation regarding the preparation of the material.
  • Rejection of Manuscript: The manuscript may be rejected at any stage of the editorial process.
  • Article Retraction: If a violation is discovered after publication, we will initiate the formal procedure to retract the published article.
  • Institutional Notification: In serious cases, we may inform the author’s affiliated institution about the incident.
