Author Guidelines

You can submit your articles after registration in your personal account. If you have any questions or difficulties in the process of submitting your materials - please contact us via e-mail  kafedra_vikova@ukr.net:

Your papers must meet the requirements set forth in the author’s guidance and be followed with supplementary document with information about the author.

The decision about article’s preliminary consideration is made within 1-2 weeks. In a case of positive decision, the article will be sent for review, which can last up to 4 weeks.

After double-blind review, the author will be informed about the inclusion of the article in the next issue of Collection or it will be required to revise.

Articles of PhD students and non-doctoral academic stuff who do not have a  degree are accepted upon the recommendation issued by department or after the supervisor’s review. Scientific reports of students are accepted only in co-authorship with the supervisor.

Responsibility for quoting and accuracy of the information is fully covered by the authors.

Editorial team reserves the right to make changes without changing the main content of the articles, as well as to refuse the author to publish the article if it does not meet the editorial requirements.

Financial Policy

The journal operates on the principles of Open Access and provides editorial and publishing support for submitted materials in strict accordance with the requirements of academic integrity, scientific ethics, and quality standards.

Independence of the Editorial Process

The submission of a manuscript, its peer review, and the final editorial decision are conducted independently of any financial conditions. Decisions are based exclusively on the results of blind peer review, the alignment of the material with the journal’s scope, and compliance with established editorial requirements.

The Editorial Board ensures the independence of editorial decisions and maintains a clear separation between editorial and financial processes. Reviewers and editors involved in the evaluation process do not have access to information regarding the financial aspects of publication and do not participate in financial procedures.

Publication Fees and Services

The amount, procedure, and payment details are determined by the publisher in accordance with the current pricing policy. Payments are made to the publisher and cover editorial and publishing services only, including:

  • Scientific and literary editing;
  • Proofreading and formatting (typesetting);
  • Preparation of the electronic version;
  • Assignment of a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), etc.

Financial relations between the author and the publisher are strictly separated from the editorial process and do not influence the outcome of peer review or the acceptance of the manuscript.

Transparency and Non-Discrimination

The Editorial Board adheres to the principles of transparency, equality, and non-discrimination. Publication decisions do not depend on the author's academic degree, institutional affiliation, or the source of research funding.

Publication Terms for PhD Students (Third-Level Higher Education)

To support early-career researchers, the Editorial Board accepts sole-authored articles by PhD students  enrolled in state-funded (budget) programs for publication free of charge.

Free publication is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The submitted article must meet all editorial requirements and the journal’s thematic scope.
  2. The manuscript must adhere to the principles of academic integrity.
  3. The paper must successfully pass the peer-review process.

 Required Documentation: Along with the manuscript, PhD students enrolled in state-funded programs must provide official documents confirming their eligibility for free publication (e.g., a certificate from the university/research institution)

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • References are presented in alphabet order
  • The text space is 1.5; uses a 14-point font; author's emphases are made in italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • All researchers, mentioned in the article, are presented in the references
